River Tweed Path

Walking near Peebles, Scotland · October 2021

Peebles is a town in the Scottish borders, around 45 minutes drive south from central Edinburgh. The River Tweed runs through the center of the town, with the River Tweed Path going along the banks past historic castles, and beautiful valley vistas. I previously cycle-camped in Peebles over the summer.

The walking loop we did was around 12km in total, looping across the various bridges en-route, and coming back over The Sware hill to Peebles. I have posted the route on Komoot.
