This is the latest I have ever published a month note, well through the best part of October. The last month or so have been very hectic. A combination of illness (kids in nursery!), H returning to work, and working on my new project StandingWire.

I attended Tectonic Night Summit in Glasgow, hosted GlasgowJS, and EdinburghJS. I’m glad that Waracle have picked up the sponsorship of the Glasgow meetup. It makes life much easier when a local company steps up and contributes to the community with enthusiasm!

I managed to take most of a day off to go for lunch at The Free Company out near Balerno with H. It’s a lovely setting and it was a great meal. Worth a visit if you are looking for a treat!

Reading this month: I’ve been working my way through Anna Karenina and To Hell and Back: Europe 1914-1949 by Ian Kershaw. Slow progress, as I usually only have ~10 mins last thing in the day before I fall asleep!
